Responsibilities:
The Copywriter will…
- be responsible for concept and delivery of branded advertising, marketing copy for websites and special project campaigns
- ensure that all copy meets the expectations set by the Marketing team’s creative brief
- ensure that all copy is delivered on deadline, proofed and 100% error free
- report to and work closely with the Marketing Director and Digital Marketing staff that all copy is aligned with the brand voice

- displays excellent command of the English language with a knack for sentence structure and grammar
- works diligently to understand the target audience and understands the value of research and competitive set awareness
- understands the importance of deadlines and plans accordingly to meet them
- is professional, adapting quickly to unscheduled work and impromptu projects
- is a keen observer that understands the best ideas can come from anywhere (out of the office), at any moment (off the clock) and is always on the lookout for inspiration
- loves participating in the creative process from brainstorm to launch, actively seeks out opportunities to contribute during all phases
- is an articulate speaker able to present ideas clearly, occasionally to a room full of people
- is a team player comfortable in a collaborative environment and always eager to share and refine ideas
- is always receptive to constructive feedback and understands that revision is an essential part of the creative process
- has three to five years of writing or editing experience, preferably in websites or online advertising
- did well in school, BA in English preferred
- is proficient with Word and or Google Docs
- has a great sense of humor and doesn’t lose it in stressful situations
- is a wordsmith that never stops thinking of the best way to say it
