About the Role:

As a Design Intern, you will be instrumental in creating design concepts and prototypes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and adhering to design guidelines. This role is tailored for individuals eager to gain practical experience in UI design and to understand the nuances of user interface and user experience design in a real-world setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design Development: Assist in developing design concepts and prototypes based on team requirements.
• Collaboration: Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with business goals and user needs.
• Design Process: Follow and suggest improvements to established design guidelines and processes.
• Feedback and Reviews: Engage in design reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
• Documentation: Document design decisions and maintain accurate records.
• Design System Maintenance: Help maintain the design system and organize design files for team access.
• Learning and Growth: Show eagerness to learn, improve design skills, and stay updated with industry trends.‍
• Task Management: Effectively work under supervision, completing tasks on time and to standard.

Requirements:

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or related field.
• Design Skills: Demonstrable UI design skills, preferably with a portfolio.
• Tool Proficiency: Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Invision, or other visual design and wire-framing tools. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and webflow for prototyping is advantageous.
• Communication: Strong visual design skills and ability to present designs and solutions to stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Creative and effective problem-solving skills.
• Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.‍
• Agile Experience: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development process is beneficial.
