About the Role:

We are offering an unpaid Software Engineering Internship with a strong focus on frontend development, while also providing exposure to backend engineering. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who want to gain real-world experience building polished, responsive user interfaces and contributing to full-stack development in a fast-paced startup environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Convert UI/UX designs into responsive, high-fidelity HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Build dynamic, interactive user interfaces using JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility through thorough testing and debugging.
• Improve and maintain existing frontend components to enhance performance and user experience.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver clean, user-friendly UI implementations.
• Optimize frontend performance, accessibility, and loading speed.
• Assist in integrating frontend components with backend APIs and services.
• Write clean, modular, maintainable code across the stack.
  
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Explore and learn modern engineering tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Strong familiarity with ES5/ES6 JavaScript, DOM manipulation, CSS layout techniques, and responsive web design.
• Ability to troubleshoot layout issues and understand cross-browser compatibility.
• Basic experience with frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Git or other version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Effective communication and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment.
