Head of Sales

We provide a platform that fights fraud and money laundering. It addresses Bank Secrecy Act compliance requirements with complete offerings for transaction monitoring, KYC, sanctions screening and fraud prevention. And provides User Interface that supports the operational workflows risk, fraud and financial crime investigation teams require for their daily jobs. All of these functionalities are fueled by its patented Electronic DNA™ (eDNA™) technology. Our platform is fully API based and built from the ground up on best of breed technologies that allow for horizontal scalability with real time responses. We sell our services to FinTech, ecommerce, and traditional financial institutions. The product team is very technical and works jointly with the Engineering organization to make sure releases are well aligned and prioritized. The team also works very closely with Marketing, Sales and Client Services.
Responsibilities:
- Motivating the sales team to achieve the best results possible.
- Setting activity and revenue targets for members of the sales team.
- Continual training and development of all members of the sales department.
- Attending key meetings with members of the sales team.
- Identifying key areas for improvement in the sales process.
- Spotting market opportunities for new customers.
- Attending semi-monthly meetings with other senior members of the business.
- All aspects of recruitment and selection for the sales department.
- Attending industry events and conferences to generate new business leads.
- Acting as a spokesperson for the organization at sales events and conferences.
- Networking with other directors in order to generate new business for the company.
- Monthly reporting on sales performance against budget and reporting on variances.
Requirements:
- Previous experience successfully managing sales teams from a similar industry.
- Professional sales training would be a strong advantage.
- Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in a business.
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to inspire sales teams.
