Property Management Assistant (part-time remote)

We are looking for a Property Management Assistant to help manage short term and long term rentals on Airbnb in California as well as general administration. This is a remote position, which can be done from home. This job also requires administration skills, project management skills, and an eye for detail. If you are a people person, organized, and quick to communicate with technology, this job is for you!

Responsibilities

  • Message and review guests: You will need to stay in close communication with guests through messaging via Airbnb, text, WhatsApp or phone calls.
  • Manage room listing details, pricing, and the reservation calendar. You may need to review and edit listing descriptions, photos, nightly price, and availability.
  • Manage reservations: You will be expected to accept or decline reservation requests.
  • Resolve maintenance issues: You need to resolve issues reported by guests using remote means.
  • Get help from Airbnb: If there’s an issue with a reservation or guest, you will need to contact Airbnb to work on a resolution.
  • Anticipate the needs of the CEO and the team, helping on operational, administrative and personal activities.
  • Proofread and translate documents in Indonesian.
  • Conduct research on various topics.
  • Other executive administrative responsibilities and activities as needed.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable communicating using modern messaging technologies. (Slack / WhatsApp / SMS)
  • 3 year administrative experience in a business environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of phone and email procedures and etiquette.
  • A minimum of 2 year expert level on Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Products. 
  • A minimum of 1 year work experience with US clients and/or individuals. 
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. 
  • Excellent communication, time management and organization skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Internet Research savvy with the ability to learn new tools quickly. 
  • Proactive, positive, energetic with a “can-do” personality.
  • Verifiable written and verbal communication skills in English and Indonesian
  • Bachelor degree in the administrative field.
  • Ability to work from home. Reliable home internet connection is a must. 
  • Ownership of a home computer and modern smartphone. 
  • Flexible availability: Some after hours or weekend availability may be required.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with channel managers and reservation systems.
  • AirBnb Hosting experience.
