Are you a passionate WordPress Developer who is active in the WordPress community? The right candidate should be able to work quickly and effectively within a small team and have a desire to learn new systems, APIs and third party tools.
Required Skills:
- Experienced with PHP.
- Understand RESTful API practices and server communication using AJAX/JSON and JavaScript/jQuery.
- Experience with Git.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule to meet various demands of client programming and on-call requirements (very limited).
- Experience building and modifying WordPress plugins.
- Experienced with WordPress (custom theme, shortcode, function, ACF, etc).
- Strong front-end development skills: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (jQuery).
- Some experience with cross-browser, platform, and device manual/automation testing.
- Strong debugging and problem solving skills.
- Experience with development tools: Grunt, Bower, node, etc.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in an IT or Computer Science related field or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience working as a developer for customer-facing websites running on highly customized WordPress themes.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Must be able to clearly articulate and document processes and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills, structured thinking and development methodology
- Ability to work quickly and patiently as part of a small team growing rapidly.
